2. What we collect

We collect only the data needed for our activities:

• Contact data you send us through the contact form or by email (name, email, message)
• Membership data of our members (name, contact details, study programme)
• Participant data for events and excursions (name, contact details, dietary or safety information where necessary)

3. Why we process data

We process personal data to answer enquiries, administer membership, organise programmes and meet our legal reporting duties. The legal bases are consent, the performance of membership obligations, legitimate interest and legal obligation under the GDPR.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data may be shared only with partners directly involved in organising an activity (for example, hosts of an excursion) and only to the extent necessary, or where required by law.

5. Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to two years. Membership data is kept for the duration of membership and as required by the Accounting Act thereafter.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing and to data portability. To exercise your rights, write to info@foreststudents.bond. You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

7. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary local storage, such as remembering your language choice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
